This site has been put together in the hope of enlightening Australian’s about contaminants in drinking water supplies across the country.
The site began in late 2017 and is put together by volunteers associated with Friends of the Earth Australia. If you have information that you would like to share feel free to contact Friends of the Earth.
The reason for constructing the site was to put all of the water data collected over the past decade into one easily accessible website linked to maps of locations where problems have occurred.
Another reason was to raise the profile of Disinfection byproducts to a wider audience. Finally the site was also constructed in an attempt to quantify what are the major contaminants found in drinking water across Australia and at what levels.
